"My time in our district began as a kindergarten student myself and later circled back to being a district teacher, then to seeking out a home here so I could become a district parent, and I've loved every minute of it! When I started my work as a Miller Creek District School Board Trustee, I had a third grader and a kindergartener, but the years have flown by, and I now have a Miller Creek eighth grader and a high school junior.
I was a district student for nine years in the 1980s and 1990s, a district teacher in the early 2000s, and then became a district parent in 2015 and remain one today, in 2026. With this history and having served the community on the Miller Creek School Board for the past eight years, I have both knowledge of our community's unique needs and a fierce belief that there is something special about our schools, educators, families, and students. My care for every student runs deep. While our schools are undeniably good, I believe there is always room for improvement, and I am committed to using my personal experience and professional perspective as an educator and attorney to serve our schools."
